Celebrating the life of Rev. Tommy Wayne Hunter
Thank you for signing Rev. Tommy Wayne Hunter's Guestbook
Reading all of these condolences brought to mind all of the ways Wayne has touched lives for the Lord. I plan to remember the two greatest things he taught me: love for the underprivileged, and his burning desire to see all his children, grands, and friends have a personal relationship with Jesus and join him in Heaven one day. Much love to you all. Joyce Hunter

'Miss' Joyce and family my prayers and condolences go out to each of you at this difficult time. Wayne is with our Lord And Savior which is a blessings but you all and others that loved him and appreciated him are left for the time being without him. I really enjoyed his teaching and leading the Bible study at Christian Golfers Association gatherings when I was in Sumter. Yes, we did disagree me as a Methodist minister and him as a Baptist minister. But oh how I learned from him and respected him. I thank God for his service and that I got to know him even for just a few years. May God give you all peace and comfort during this time. Blessings, Rev. Joseph Robert 'Bob' Huggins

Joyce, David, and rest of family. It was a joy to watch your family at church. You set the example how a Christian family should be. Wayne was a joy to listen to and I liked to hear him preach! Another one that God has called home and what a homecoming that was!! Love and prayers for all of you.

Prayers for comfort and grace for the family. He is experiencing all the fullness of what he believed. I will never forget over 10 years ago being in a prayer meeting with both he and joyce and she felt led to tell me I should work with college students. I now work as a college instructor. Thank you both for touching my life. Wendy Cunningham

My sincere condolences to the family of Tommy Wayne Hunter. His death left your hearts heavy laden and sorrowful, but when you are feeling sad, think of the joy he brought to you during his lifetime. Death can disrupt the happiness and well being of a family. Some blame God for death, far from the Truth, as God considers death an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26). Moving forward, you will continue to cherish his memories, while doing so, take comfort in Acts 24:15. Those resurrected will have everlasting life and never have to face death again. https://www.jw.org./end/publications/books/dead-live-again-tract/dead-live-again/
