Crystal Boyd Perry



Sumter, SC…Crystal Machelle Boyd Perry, age 53, beloved wife of Randolph Randy Perry Sr., died on Monday, June 11, 2018 at MUSC in Charleston.

Born January 19, 1965 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the only child of Marion Elizabeth Barnes and the late William Clifton Boyd. Her grandparents were Charles and Grace Boyd and Williams and Marion Barnes. She was educated through the Catholic School system of Philadelphia, PA. She also completed two years of community college. Crystal worked as a surgical tech for Kershaw Health for many years. She loved her job and the people she worked with over the years. She was a very strong person. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching television, fishing and making jewelry. Her true joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition her husband and mother, she is survived by four sons, Randolph Randy Perry, Jr. of Greenville, Christopher Latane of Philadelphia, Ammanuel Tre Perry of Columbia, and Javon Tee Boyd – Perry of Sumter; three daughters, India Bennett and her husband Gary of Sumter, Alexandria Boyd Charles and her husband Quentin of Columbia, and Fardiah Boyd of Philadelphia; one brother, Antonio Hampton of Philadelphia; one sister, Shawncie Carpenter of Philadelphia; and six grandchildren, Abrielle Charles, Nyjuan Johnson, Imarien Young, Maurice Young, Michael Latane and Daizhaw Perry.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 3:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 17, 2018 one hour prior to the service from 2-3 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
