Lincoln Albert Miller



Sumter, SC…………. Lincoln Albert Miller, age 66, died on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland, after an extended illness.

Born in Sumter, he was the son of the late Lincoln Miller and Bennie Mae Bonham Miller. Lincoln affectionately known as “Al” was a graduate of Sumter High School. After high school, Al served as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps. After his honorable discharge he attended Central Carolina Technical College.

He was a jack of all trades. He loved cooking, gardening and could fix anything that was broken. He always was willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed it.

His true joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered as a very loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Joann are: three children; Lincoln A. Miller Jr. of Sumter, Susnaia Miller and her fiancé Doyle of Bowie, Maryland and Chasity Miller and her fiancé Oswald of Glenarden, Maryland; three sisters; Mary Ann Smith, Denise York (Lee) and Margie Miller; four grandchildren; Alexus, Camille, Amaya and Cadyn.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Bullock Funeral Home.
