Sumter, SC ..................... Carol Jean Spillers, age 63, died on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Palmetto Health Tuomey.
Born in Bay County, FL, she was the daughter of the late Jack Carroll Spillers and Jean Wilson Spillers. Carol was an amazing soul with a kind and empathetic heart. She had a brilliant mind with a sharp wit and was always quick to laugh and smile. She was a true friend and protector of any animals in need, especially her cats. Carol will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
Surviving are: one son, Michael Richardson of Sumter; one daughter, Carrie Zeitner of Arizona; one brother, Jim Spillers and his wife Melissa of Richmond, Virginia,; one sister, Jan Bordelon of Las Vergas, NV; three grandchildren, Charles, Alena and Sydney; step-mother, Pat Love of Sumter; two step-brothers, Jeffrey Gillespie and Ben Gillespie; two step-sisters, Debbie Hall and Krystal McBride and best friends, Matt and Judy Grandalski of Dalzell.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 4:30 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 4:00 - 4:30 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.

I love you Mom and I miss you.We have shared many laughs over the years, even since you moved our conversations are ones to remember. You are always in my heart. You will be missed but never forgotten.
