Obituary

Pinewood, SC……………. Oneita Lynn Williams, age 52, beloved wife of Dwayne Gene Williams, died on Thursday, June 21, 2018.

Born in Sumter, she was the daughter of Marjorie Madonna Taylor Barwick and Edward Barwick.

Oneita was a kind hearted, compassionate, beautiful, amazingly ambitious woman throughout all aspects of her life. As a young child she loved spending time with her father, Mr. Edward Barwick. She had a strong desire to learn about automobiles and their repairs and helped her father repair and restore many vehicles. She also learned many additional skills from her father that she would later use in her career paths, such as plumbing, electrical work, construction, etc. Throughout her life, she continued to obtain as much knowledge as possible. She was often referred to as “the best woman mechanic ever” by those who knew her. She worked many years through out her life doing construction at Union Camp and doing road work construction. Those who where blessed to have known her, know she was a tough, stubborn, strong woman with a ginormous heart. She truly loved everyone. Though she took pride in her past careers her health had not allowed her to work a steady job in years. That’s when she took on her most treasured positions and task in life. That of being a loving wife, and amazing mother, an awesome Nah Nah to her grand babies. She was a devoted sister, devoted daughter, a caring and supportive friend and so much more. She truly was one of a kind. Her love for each one of her family members was beyond measurable and she did her best to let you know it. She had one of the largest giving hearts. She will forever remain in our hearts and memories, always. She will never be able to be replaced. We love you more.

In addition to her spouse and parents, she is survived by; one son Michael Floyd and his girlfriend, Ashton and her daughter, Gracin; a daughter, Heather Marie Windham and her husband Christopher of Sumter; one brother, Kenny McCormick and his wife Diane of KS; two sisters, Marsha Irene Faraon and Donna Rae McCormick all of Sumter and two grandchildren, William Clayton Christopher (Clay) Windham and Janet Ariana Floyd.
