I knew Lucky form the 60's as a local musician playing in the clubs in Washington, D. C. I played music with him on several occasions, especially with a group named Country Gold. He was a dear friend and will be dearly missed. Ray Cross.

I knew Roy as Lucky Lane when he played music with the Southern Knights many years ago in and around the Washington, DC. area. He was my friend and fellow musician, and later became my brother-in-law. We have shared so many years both as friends and family, and I will miss him so much. I will miss his music, his laughter and quick wit as well as his friendship and place in our family.
