Sumter, SC ...... Frank L. Avins, Jr., age 74, beloved husband of the late Sylvia, Parker Avins, died on Friday, November 17, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Sumter, he was the son of the late Frank L. Avins, Sr. and Elizabeth Ardis Avins. Frank joined his late wife of 50 years, who passed away on September 16, 2015, in eternal rest. Frank loved to barbeque and was known for his special sauce. He enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Sumter P15's, where he played as a youngster. He will be remembered as a very loving father, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
